Counter-intuitively, the 22.2mm version is lighter than the 19mm one: 420 g/m against 428 g/m. It comes from a 4.0mm wall instead of 4.5mm, which is what lets a larger bore weigh less per metre.
That matters on long roof-mounted runs where every kilogram is carried by the ceiling structure. Working pressure holds at 3.5 MPa with a 15.0 MPa minimum burst, and the bend radius is 125mm — 20mm more than the 19mm size, so plan the routing corners accordingly.
